Wild Horse Island - Private Scenic Tour

Wild Horse Island claims the title of the largest island on Flathead Lake, at approximately 2,164 acres in size. Due to the abundance of wildlife, the island has been protected as a State Park since 1977 to maintain the land and the animals residing there. The island is only accessible by boat. Clients who wish for a physical excursion are able to leave the boat and hike around the four miles of interconnecting trails. When hiking, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for:-Wild Horses

Painted Rocks / Petroglyphs - Private Scenic Tour

Painted Rocks offers a historical feature of early Native Americans. On the outcrop of the cliffs, there is over 200 Native American markings believed to be about 3,000 years old. The markings are visible by boat as you are passing and can snatch some photos of the historical site. According to archeologists, places where pictographs and petroglyphs reside are considered sacred spots. Some of the different markings that can be made out are buffalo, deer, and moose!
